IS THIS REALLY CELEBRATION............!!!

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 33; the thirty-third edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is 'Celebrations'

CELEBRATION where is it..!! Do you people think still we celebrate
festivals. Or there is celebration in festivals. I don't think so.
(many of u would not agree with me.). Ya i can say we celebrate
parties..  but its not original celebration. I know time has changed. So
how we celebrate also changed.. Ya i can say we celebrate parties on
every weekend but where is celebration from heart or with whole
combined family.
Some of you think i am negative person but here is some point which
forced me to think about it... please bear with me....!!

  1. Best start of celebration is with sweets ( KUCH MITHA HO JAYE )
but now days everywhere we see or hear that sweets is no pure.. Lacs of
kilos duplicate MAVA sealed during festivals still  do u think v can
celebrate or hurting our health...!!
2.. Celebration means happiness. But in today era this celebration
means tension. inflation increase day by day.. For celebration need
money.. But in india many people don't have money to eat then how they
celebrate ( this point not apply to all) some person may say we can
celebrate without money ( but most probably they are trying to say lie
to them self )
3 Formalities.. Everyone have there own style of celebration.. But
family and society force people to behave like as they want. Therefore
we have to comply formalities.. That is burden not celebration.
4 wishes : without wishes and love celebration is not complete. But
think once when we give wishes to someone or someone gives wishes to
us we mean that...??? ( some time its very true but not all time..) we
wish them not by heart but just because we have to wish that's why we
wish..
5. Last but not least Enjoy.. But now day meaning of enjoyment changed
many people think drinking bear/wine or taking drugs is name of
enjoyment. But they never think about it how they hurt family,, friends, other peoples
after that. Heard many cases on new year so called celebration nights.

Above point are just to prove my point of view where TRUE celebration
is.!! Many more point may be in this list.
Bur after all people try to celebrate and in festival country like
india every day is celebration. But original celebration is not only
on Diwali new year etc it will be when we are truly happy.. When
there is no any pain in heart .. When our half of country (means
woman) will get original freedom when only drinking bear is not
celebration.when whole family together But this day will come or not i don't know.
So celebrate after all we are part of this so called society..

So happy Diwali to all...!! (hmm duplicate or by heart  think u..)
Thank you  for bear with me

disclaimer- this is just my point of view and only for contest . If
i hurt by words anyone i am sorry for that. But it is not for hurt anyone or
there feelings.

My note- All people who read it wish you all happy Diwali and  enjoy be safe.

Thanking you

  2. A very different view on celebration. To me celebration is not only associated with festival but also with surmounting small challenges in life. Getting over the fear also call for celebration or celebrating the excitement of a kid looking at the rainbow. Million such example.Good post. Provide different perspective on celebration.

Yeah, you are right to certain ambiguous degree. but then, I would like to wish you a very warm and happy festival season -- just for the sake of the warmth that it gives me. 5. I really enjoyed reading what you have written Jitendra.
May be because I feel likewise. I so so so agree!!
It is very ironical how the younger/coming generation(including me) interprets "Celebration".
But it is never to late, an eye-opening take on 'Celebration' like yours can inspire a lot ..
All the very best for BAT 33 :)

  14. I do not agree with a lot of the things you have to say so please forgive me for that...

I am not a very religious person - I do enjoy festivals but that is more because they give me an occasion to spend some time with my family :) You had mentioned that "formalities" kill celebrations - well, formalities are all a part of tradition and even if they don't make sense anymore, doing rituals together only brings people together (it does not matter if you don't feel it from the heart..the fact that you are being forced to do it primarily because it shouldn't hurt others' sentiments is a good enough reason to be grateful...You actually did something you thought was utterly ridiculous just for the sake of another person!)

I enjoy Christmas, New Year primarily because it is a festival that I can spend with friends - usually, Diwali and Holi are festivals that require a person to be more with the family than with friends...I do not see the harm in drinking - a few unfortunate incidents that happen - for that why blame the alcohol? Blame the fact that law is not being implemented properly...

And what is the big deal about getting wishes? It reminds me of the time when we had Friendship Day in fifth standard where we all wanted a friendship band so we wished everyone who was giving out pretty friendship bands Happy Friendship Day hoping to get a pretty band back in return :P
I think celebrations are just extensions of celebrating our own individual selves in this vast maze of social interactions. And a part of yourself is not limited to only you as a being..It extends to all other areas of life...

And if parties are a grand way of showing the celebratory spirit, I don't think it should be judged. Culture is something that keeps changing and there is no "Indian culture" that people keep talking about :) Just accept that times change and each era is just as good or as bad as the previous one and move on!!
